Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Anybody still sub to profit accumulator and can fill me in on their payment options at the moment. I know they started charging separately for casino cruncher etc, will the 17.99 pm get me access to everything or are there still bolt ons? I've being using yesbets but their matching software really is doing my head in.

In what way?

In what way?

Just seems extremely slow to update when odds change in comparison to what I remember from profit accumulator. Also doesn't seem to take into account t liquidity at the odds offered, so i stipulate 50 quid bet, find a match and check it on smarkets only to find that the liquidity is 3 pounds.

Just placed my first bet, using OM, Betfair and 188Bet!

So I bet £15 at odds of over 2.0 (which was the minimum) for a football match on Saturday (Premiership game) in order to unlock the "Bet £10 to get a Free £20 bet" offer (Layed it as well). The free bet should arrive in "up to 72 hours".

My question though is, when should I place my Mug bet? Should I wait until after I receive the free £20 bet and I have betted that and Layed it and then place my Mug bet and lay it (its gonna be the same value as my qualifier bet, with similar odds), or should I place my Mug bet now? Does it actually make any difference?

Placed my first bet yesterday using the 188Bet offer (bet £10 and get £20 free bet).

I’ve initially deposited £30 with 188Bet as I placed £15 on the qualifier bet and will also make a second £15 mug bet once I receive and place my free bet as well.

As an example, the qualifier football match I betted on was Burnley vs Crystal Palace on Sunday 10th Sept. I’ve backed Burnley (£15) at odds of 2.26 and Layed Burnley (£14.07) with Betfair at odds of 2.46.

This may sound like a daft question but what would happen (is it even possible?!) if I placed my free £20 bet (if I receive it before Sunday) and also my £15 mug on the same Burnley vs Crystal Palace game on Sunday?

Well there'll be no issues from a technical point of view. They'll pay out no problem.

Personally I think that looks quite muggy and so a good thing provided you are backing the same types of outcome (say a Burnley win, over x goals and Burnley to win by 2 or more). You look like someone who really thinks Burnley is going to win. What you must not do is back conflicting type bets on the same match. So Burnley to win as your qualifier and Crystal Palace to score 3 or more as your free bet as an example. That makes you look like a matched bettor, chasing low close odds on the qualifier and high odds on the SNR freebet.

...cheers for that - appreciated!

Yea - I'd definitely be backing the same outcome in all cases, a Burnley win!

Additionally, is there any order to do the bets in? i.e. I have already placed my £15 qualifier bet and Layed it. Should I wait until after I have recieved my free £20 bet and placed that before placing my mug bet or should I place my mug bet before the free bet comes through?

You're not going to get good value from your freebet placing the same outcome as your qualifier. Odds are too low. It'll work but not great value. Are you using an odds matching piece of software? I'd be amazed if it is telling you that the same bet as your quali is the right thing to do at the same bookmakers.

Personally I'd place the mug bet after placing the freebet. That's because there might be all sorts of reasons why you don't get that freebet and the mug bet is wasted. For example do you know for sure no one at your registered address before you lived there used this offer? If they did then you don't qualify potentially. You might mis-read the T&Cs early on in your MB career and not qualify for picking too low odds or something. That's why I'd wait.

I wasn't actually gonna place the free bet on the same match (no software has recommended it either), I was merely just enquiring if it was possible and what would happen if I did.

...ok, thanks for that - again, I was indeed gonna place the mug bet after the free bet anyway, but just wanted to know if there was a specific order for placing the bets.
:)

Can you show me an example please as I'm not following

Well I've done 2 on William Hills yesterday and today for £20 each

5 Team Acca - as low odds as possible but have to be 1.2 or higher to qualify for the free bet if one leg lets me down.

First one has won (all 5 teams) - £67.32 back

Rangers v Dundee – 90 Minutes Rangers @ 1.30 Won
Juventus v Chievo – 90 Minutes Juventus @ 1.22 Won
Ajax v PEC Zwolle – 90 Minutes Ajax @ 1.22 Won
Shanghai East Asia v Tianjin TEDA – 90 Minutes Shanghai East Asia @ 1.30
Arsenal v Bournemouth – 90 Minutes Arsenal @ 1.33 Won

Second one has 3 wins and a loss so far with the Toronto v San Jose game playing later tonight (Toronto to win) - so if they win, I'll get my money back as a free bet as that will be 4 out of 5.

Beginners luck I guess but another day, another 5 fold and another winner - £20.00 on- - won £78.24

Inter Milan v Spal – 90 Minutes Inter Milan @ 1.22 Won
Lyon v Guingamp – 90 Minutes Lyon @ 1.36
Utrecht v Roda JC – 90 Minutes Utrecht @ 1.25
AZ Alkmaar v NAC Breda – 90 Minutes AZ Alkmaar @ 1.30
Bologna v Napoli – 90 Minutes Napoli @ 1.44 Won

So £80 spend over 4 acca's - £145.56 returned, plus another £13.84 profit from free bet from the one losing leg acca. Healthy 4 days work
