Mate who i work with got fired today for calling someone a bad word. The person told on him, to the teamleader. Is that right i know the UK has gone insane with its PC but i think thats crazy over calling him a name.
 
good lord, I'd have been fired about 6 times this afternoon if that were the case here!
 
i would have thought that it wasn't so easy to sack someone these days, I thought people had to have warnings etc...
 
He called a colleague a bad word? or someone higher up than him?

And it does depend on the word sometimes, which I think is ridiculous anyway, unless it's something like the "N" word.

There's codes of conduct that specify that you are not to act threatening or verbal abuse of any kind and all of that.
 
I called a trainee a '******* moron' the other day for not following simple instructions given to him by another manager. He told the manager what I had said and he agreed with me! :p
 
He is agency and he said it to another agency worker, he wasnt higher up than him they are the same.
It was the N word but it doesnt matter as the bloke he said it to is white anyway.

Unfortunatley it doesn't matter who you say it too these days, with PC going out of control as it is.

He could have said it in a day dream and he would have been mobbed by management
 
but insulting customers is a national pastime i used do it all the time before i got a job where there was no me customer relations

its probly worse to call a white guy it . Your basically using the word to say theyre bad and therefore implying that been black is bad...

No, ****** isn't a bad word. It's bandied around in publicly available songs everyday, so how can it be bad? Anyway, if it's OK for a black guy to use it then it's OK for anyone to use it, otherwise that could be construed as racism.
 
You cant say anything to ppl anymore, you got to be very careful these days.
Like with coloured ppl (btw some dont even like that) of course they hate the N word but Sambo like wtf.

thats kinda stupid. the C and the N words are both off limits. and it is racist if its used in a degrading way, e.g.*some2 does something stupid* dont be such a N word. It implies that all negros are inferior
