Any decent C2D mATX boards that are pretty overclockable?
Onboard video would be a plus.

The absolute best I believe:

It is but really not worth the extra.
For Intel Core 2 E2*** and E4*** series CPUs with 800FSB, the Asus P5K-VM.
For all others, including Quads, the Gigabyte G33M-DS2R.
Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H Is not a bad clocker - you should get 3 - 3.2gig no problem with E2*** chips. You can lock ram at 800mhz and adjust FSB to anything you want.
I have that already - in my HTPC. It's not bad, but I want more options other that just FSB and voltage.
Cheers for the other suggestions everyone. I'll have a closer look at them.![]()
Do you Press F1 in bios to unlock advanced mode for things like memory timings n what not?
Just tried it - all it does is bring up a help menu...
Edit: Ah, CTRL+F1
All it seems to do is unlock memory timings though.
There are a few other stuff there too....The bios has all you need for a stable overclock! Only thing really missing is ram voltage adjustments... theres a new F5 bios out - will check it out this weekend.
Hmmm... I'll have to have a proper play around with it - I've only managed 2.2GHz @ 1.35v with an E2140 so far. :/
The only difference I've noticed with the F5 BIOS is my HDD activity light now works.![]()
Try setting memory to "Unlinked" - this overclocks FSB without touching memory clock. I get higher CPU clocks with this!
Nice! What voltage is that?
