Maximum silliness and loads of things to go wrong.

That's the plan.

Assuming it works it's going to have 5 radiators in case cooling 4 7970s, an i7 3960x, 8x sticks of ram and 8 hard drives.

If it works it should mean 4 colours of water (or leaks)

It's going along with 8x 240gb agility 3 ssds on an LSI 9260i raid controller with fastpath.

It was going to have six 28" screens but they are now to be sold and replaced with 3 dell 30" ultrasharps...

What could possibly go wrong? :)

You're insane. I like it. That would be extremely expensive. Not sure what case you'd fit all that in. 4 colours of water? Be careful when you're piping up. Don't want to kill any expensive equipment. Jealous for the benchmarking capability of something like that. Enjoy yourself! :P.

Even with just the video cards the drivers are a nightmare which is one of the reasons for changing from six screens down to the three

Before using quadfire 6970x2 +6990 some games worked great on six, some not happy at all :(

Was good for films though!

The case is called a XSPC H1 Extreme Cube Case and is very ugly(at least on the photos, not seen in person) but very big :)

I bet it was... my mouth is watering a little.

You are a very fortunate person to be able to fund a system with the mentioned spec , enjoy it and be grateful that you can have such a beast haha :)

Sounds good you'll have to pit it against Vegas quad Keplar build when he does it True AMD Vs NVidia Battle

As seen as you're going insane why not have two CPUs, I'm not sure if you can currently get a dual cpu 2011 motherboard, but it's worth a look surely!
