Quick question. Bought this and my workout will go in a cycle of one day weights, next day run, weights, rest.

On weights days I'll take one in the morning and one immediately after the workout, as instructed.

How much should I be taking on days where I run or rest? I'm thinking perhaps one in the morning or evening?

Cheers,

I would take it as guided as it contains creatine. Also you should remember it is to supplement your protein intake and you still require the same amount of protein on a rest day as training day if you wish to recover well.

totally depends on your diet...or did you think diet is not important and using this maximuscle BS is itself gona make you big?

No I'll be eating a diet which provides plenty of protein throughout the day.

I was tempted to not even bother with supplements as I've seen people who are living proof that you don't need protein shakes to be huge, they accomplish their goals on diet alone.

One thing I would say is that when I first started a few months ago I did think that protein powder (especially cyclone thanks to the many reviews from people who got sucked in like me by the advertisments) was some miracle thing that I needed. Through research and advice you come to realise it is really not and is just a supplement. I would say also that maxi muscle and especially cyclone is not worth any where near what they charge you for it. You may want to look at BSD

http://www.bulksupplementsdirect.co.uk/

Their products will do much the same for you and be kinder on your wallet.

Also, again remember that cyclone contains creatine and this is not a substance that everybody finds useful, some find that it just bloats them so I would always suggest a clean whey powder and add in whatever you find necessary yourself.

And again I'll re-iterate my last post, you don't really need it at all, but if you are using it because you are unable to pack in enough protein from food you should use the same amount every day. As just as much is required on your rest days.

I'm one of these that believes that big gains can be attained without any supplementation, and I think I'm relative walking proof of it. Though I do take extra protein through shakes when on full 5x a week training and during rugby season.

I have decided to get back into the gym as I have let myself go a tad and also its been some time since I have taken whey protein, infact I used to buy it from tmof but they seem to have disappeared.

Several gym's in my new area seem to promote stuff called Syntha 6 and a few door men I have started to work with swear by it.

Has anyone got any knowledge of this Syntha 6? I have been looking at BSD which I have noticed been mentioned a few times on here.

You'll be wanting to eat as many calories/protein on training days as when resting, so decide wether you need to take them based on that. The creatine in it further confuses the situation as do you want to take creatine? If you do I'm pretty sure you have to take it consistently.

Syntha 6 is just an expensive branded protein blend, much cheaper to get something from one of the bulk suppliers.
Its all down to your diet and training rather than what sort of shake you drink

Can anyone list one of these bulk buyers. I take it BSD is one of them?

My diet is never too bad but I will be making changes as to what I was on a few years ago. Creatine is something I never bothered about and I always wondered if I need it.

Youve got BSD, MP, Bulkpowders.co.uk, bulkwhey.co.uk, wheyconsortium.co.uk and sports-nutrition.net there all the ones I can think of at the moment personally I use MP let me know if you want a discount code for them

Any discount code would be helpful. I want to put a big order in as I know a few folk would be interested when they see the very good price.

Cheers guys for the site suggestions.

Then you should have spent the money on food :p

I've never tried this stuff so I can't really comment.
