maxwell Titan 34% faster

just to be refreshing and go back on topic,.....

what do people think the likelihood of a gtx990 (2x 980) with a big lump of memory,
say 6gb a gpu. or next gen full wack max titan with a big smattering of memory
being able to run 4k with a better fps than seen so far, as i'm gagging for a good 4k setup

I doubt a 990 will ever appear simply because they are selling way to many 980's and there's no point in making one. Also reguarding 4k until developers start optimizing for 4K it's a pretty pointless to make the leap.

I recall the 780 was released ~14 months after the 680 so I guess it's possible we'll see the full die size maxwell enthusiast card (1080) in that same time frame

I'm not the only one who sees through Kaaps jibber
jabber, but when he tries calling me out with a blanket statement that makes no sense, no matter how fluffy he is I get a bit tired of it.

I thought you were going to give this a rest as it is the weekend but if you have changed your mind please carry on.:D

The above is what you would call a blanket statement lol

If there are others perhaps you or they would care to share this.:D

If they do wish to say they disagree with me, unlike you I respect their opinions and don't have a problem with that.:)

good grief that's forever away .

I was hoping earlier than that. I think i'll wait till about march if nothings sounding in the near future pipeline, i'll settle for 1440 gsync.

hopefully by then there will be more monitors if I do go that route than just the rog swift, so the price might be driven down.

I was hoping for 4k with a good fps rate though :(

Not been in the game for long but every AMD or nvidia dual GPU card I know of has used the lowest amount of VRAM per chip.
590 was 1.5gb per GPU despite the existence of 3gb 580s
7990 was 3gb per GPU whilst 6gb 7970s existed.

Not meaning to nitpick but remember that titan Z was dual titan blacks which were 6GB cards rather than dual 780 tis

You can excuse me one thread for a life time of ignoring factual incorrectness :)

Think of it as enough is enough type of affair. It's over now anyway, maybe we can both learn something from it

will silent scone and Kaapstad please either grow up, or get a hotel room, we are trying to talk about gpu's not your silly little one upmanship games good grief sigh

What you have just done is probably worse than anything Silent Scone or myself have done so far in this thread.

1. You have restarted a dead argument.

2. You have joined in.

3. You are trying a bit of one upmanship yourself.

4. You have posted nothing in your last post that has anything to do with the thread, at least Silent Scone and myself managed to debate things related to the thread.

5. Next time you post could you keep it on topic.:)
