May I present... my latest acquisition! :)

It's a Rover, Yeah!
It's a Rover, it's got a healthy M.O.T,
It's a Rover, it's driven by an O.A.P,
It's a Rover, the engine won't turnover,
It's a Rover, driven by someone slightly older,
It's a Rover, 2 wheel drive, the guy behind it is barely alive,
It's got a single paint coat,
It's been towed so many times it thinks it's a boat. :D

Update, been busy with this!

Went to Powerflow as the OEM exhaust fell off in a shower of sparks in the middle of Liverpool, and got a quiet-ish but freeflowing Catback system.

This weekend, I've kept myself busy fitting these... ;)

SDi injectors - the ones used on the older Rover 200/400/600. These have a lower break pressure of 200bar so reduce pump wear and also increase power.

Little bit smokier now, but has made a difference to acceleration :)

Given your Location when this happened, you probably did not realise this was and attempted theft of your exhaust..... ;) :D

No. The cars behind you can no longer keep up through having to navigate your smoke screen.... :D

To be honest I think the police need to crack down on people doing stupid ghetto mods to knackered diesels and then driving around everywhere billowing out smoke. It's getting a bit ridiculous.

Ah good, I guess thats when you stop the copying, given I don't buy old BMW's. Seriously what's with the sudden attacks for no discernable reason?

Jealousy I think.

Just like his attempts to goad me because he thinks his cheap fiesta is better than 2002 passat and then in every post about one makes out that i think my car is a supercar

Brillaint. :D

Not sure about a 3" exhaust on a diesel. Need videos tbh.

Known as a "mufflerectomy" does quite well for performance on VAG PD diesels. Not sure about Rovers.

Can I ask the OP a question ?

If you own a rover and you find it terribly unreliable, why do you then go out and buy not only another rover, but a diesel one ? MG arent known (as far as i know) for making great diesel engines.
