@String looking though your post that you linked to, the coolant is doing what it is supposed to do how ever the tubing looks to be the point of issue. How ever Primochill do warn on there own site not to use there tubing with ethylene glycol mixes (even though they make there own). So again there are doing there job.

Mayhems Tubing will work with all our coolants with no issues and is cheaper.

We do work closely with many manufacturers and even take on some of there testing in our lab free of charge for them. We do our due diligence and we work with 4 diffrent coolant types of which 3 we sell to the public and the 4th is only sold to the solar power and Hydro industry. When buying Coolants you need to chose the correct type and use according, this is neither the fault of Mayhems nor Primochill.

If ever in any doubt use the support system we provide and avoid any issues. The support system is free to use.

Hi Michael- Thank you for your email and quick response, I have just replied with the details requested. I just want to add that your post here answers one of my questions.

Another thing is that retailers who sell the tubing should display the warnings as well. OCUK for example show no warning on the Primochill tubing pages although they are not the only retailer to fail to list the warning. Retailers descriptions always make the product seem great but they rarely list the downsides. The warning should be at the point of purchase no matter where it's sold and the buyer should not have to search around looking for warnings that should be on product pages.

Mayhems have just contacted me and are sending me a load of coolant, dye, H2O, tubing and a Blitz Kit. I have to say I am taken back and very pleased with this. Thank you Michael and Mayhems for this very generous offer, it shows very good customer support. :)

@String We are in the process of testing PTEG from XSPC as we know and its recommend not to use Etherlene glycol with PTEG tubing.

This has been talked about a lot e.g

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5niQ0NtefM (dated: 25 Nov 2015)

How ever because "we do not make PTEG tubing" we have not fully tested it and only use acrylic our self's, but as said it is now some thing we are doing. We know Thermal Take PTEG is not very good and we have seen it micro fracture over time hence we decided to start doing our own internal testing (even though we do not make it). As for EK tubing, we do not make it and have never tested it. If EK would like to send us a sample for testing we will send it though our extensive testing routeen and give feed back once finished.

Again use the correct fluid for your build and there will be no issues, For PTEG the user should use X1 / Pastel if there is any doubt. Once again the support system is in place (www.mayhems.net) and there to be used for such questions.
