McDonalds Monopoly

I've got Kings Cross station and one for a McChicken sandwich.

Hardly ever go to McDonalds but was visiting London with work and popped in to the one at Liverpool Street.

I won a big mac. I then claimed my big mac a couple of days later, buying a drink with it - from which I won........ a big mac!

GIVE UP COLLECTING THEM!

722 Rare cards in the WHOLE OF THE UK.

The McDonalds in my ASDA store I work at has thousands of customers per day.

Say for example there are 2000/3000 customers in a day, about 2 thirds buy a big mac or something with the promotion on. Thats 2000 people in one store (at the LEAST!)

2000 tickets in one store in a DAY, now times that by 1,115 (number of stores in UK).

2,230,000 get given away each day (MINIMUM!)

Now the McDonalds promotion has been going for a while, but say for example you bought 1 mcdonalds in a week. Thats one chance in a week, where about 15,610,000 have been given away (MINIMUM!).

Also remember these winning tickets have been out for a while, chances are with that many being sold you'll never find one.

Better rewards from the lottery - Cheaper, more chances, healthier, BIGGER PRIZE!

(rant over) :)

Edit: More importantly you're just lining McDonalds pockets - Imagine 3000 customers per store, per day, spending an average of £3 each. Thats £9000 per day per store, x that by 1,115 = £10,035,000 per day roughly.

Meh.....it tastes nicer than a lottery ticket :D

I've not read through the whole of this thread - however although the idea is good it will never work.
The problem is that if you get one of the extremely rare stickers it won't be difficult for you to get the much more common ones.
However if you've got the common ones it will be a lot more difficult to get the rare ones.
Logical you say - well yes.

Look at it this way.
Say you need 3 stickers to win a house.
2 of these stickers are common, they love doing things like that because you are only 1/3 and then 2/3 away from "winning a house".
The third sticker is ultra rare.
If somebody had the ultra rare sticker it wouldn't take them that long to get the common ones, either buy buying the food or off sites such as ebay or similar or getting them off friends etc.
If however you had the common stickers and just wanted the rare then somebody with that rare is hardly going to "go in with you" on winning the house.

It'll be the same with all prizes - the stickers you are missing on anything good will be rare and people with the rare stickers will just collect the more common ones and claim the prizes themselves.

lol some serious thread resurrection there, yeah basically don't bother with them, I was all excited like OMGZ 2 out of 3 ALMOST GOT AN iPOD LOLZ but wised up after I discovered that for every prize one of the stickers is very very rare so there's point collecting them. I didn't suppose they could do that though, it is very dishonest and misleading I feel. I did do very well though, I was quite lucky and got a lot of free food stickers etc. :)
