McDonalds New 1955 Burger!

I wish McDonald's was as cheap here as it is in the US. I had a crap load every single morning which probably would have cost £20 here. :p

^ Double QPs... They were my main choice.

Samsara, Bang on! I miss the double quarter pounder with Cheese! The quarter pounder is just not enough and the topping is just right. The closest think to it is the BIG TASTY - Yummy!

I love Gerkin!!!!!!!

I remember when I was a teen and my mate used to work in McD's, he'd knock up something that was over 2k calories for me and our mates. Remember the MegaMac? Imagine that with QP's.

It was the kinda burger which made you slip into a food coma, and almost induce a heart attack at the age of 18.

I had a large qtr pounder meal and an extra chicken sandwich the other day, didnt even touch the sides. I was still hungry afterwards so they must have lowered the calorie count on their burgers.

When I was 16 I used to work there, and could make myself anything. I made a triple qtr pounder, with layers of cheese through out. Was awesome. Triple chicken sandiwiches with cheese, and nuggets on top, a 3 layer big mac with 2 burgers per layer.
I think when I was at college, I was eating about 7 mcdonalds a week at least at these proportions. :D That supersize me dude needs to man the hell up. I am a skinny dude still.

As for the actual calorie count, why? Would knowing that the big mac meal is 1,630 calories change your diet? Would you then make sure you only ate 900 calories more that day? Or would it influence you to go to the gym to work those calories off? I'll wager that for 99% of people it wouldn't. Again - they either won't know what that means, or won't care.

People can't make informed dietery decisions without having all the necessary information, so energy content labelling should be a mandatory requirement.

I've managed to resist the urge to go to either the KFC or McDonalds that are a 10-15 min walk away from me for a long time.

Recently I was having huge cravings for either a Pizza hut pizza or a curry take away ... I negated them both with a cheapo frozen pizza with spices and chilli on it (the same Pizza that I made a thread about, I've not had another since).

1 or 2 frozen pizzas per week are managing to stave off my junk food cravings, and they are only around 450 Calories each, but I am still completely unable to control my cake / chocolate cravings :(

I know the craving feeling - used to be a good drive away from takeaway. Where I have moved to now, I am surrounded by almost every takeaway on the market - finding it very tough!

The staff in MCD's should just scrap human rights and make it their personnal goal to only sell the waddlers salad.

That or obese people need something similar to a ration book but for MCD's that they have to show and can be refused service if they have already had their quota for the month!

I crave MCD's at times, then i eat it and 10 mins later im still hungry and regret it! I think since i started the gym and cut back on crap food to get back to my former glory ive never felt so good! Rice and Turkey is more of a craving than any junk food for me now!
Saying that id take a stab at that in the above picture, id even try the big burger too! =P
