A 22-year-old woman has threated legal action against McDonalds after she spilled a cup of hot chocolate on her lap when she went for a drive-thru meal.

Ms Smith told the Liverpool Echo: 'They were too full, and there was a sharp bend and a speed bump in the drive-through, for some strange reason.

'I can't walk properly now, and shuffle around like a frog. Going to the toilet is excruciating.

why the ****ing hell you driving with hot chocolate in your lap then!?

She is now considering legal action against McDonalds.

Her mother added that she is thinking of starting a campaign highlighting the dangers of hot drinks from drive-throughs.

really....

The cup will almost certainly already say 'Caution: Contents are hot' or words to that effect, what more do you want!? As if it wasn't obvious a hot chocolate will be hot if you spill it on yourself.

In that case can I sue for a very hot gherkin that fell on to my hand from a big mac the other day?

The pain is terrible, I can't even have a decent wan........

Blegh McDonald's coffee is just above room temp at best(not that if it was got it would taste good). All this will achieve is them lowering the temperature more.

What happened to responsibility?

Yeah, it's like those packets of peanuts that caution "zomgZORZ this contains nuts!!!111one22" like it wasn't obvious in the first place lol. Some people need their heads looking into.

bloody hell mate, i know you don't like McDonalds coffee but cutting the poor girl was a bit over the top!

It's the best method ;) Same with kids, hit them progressively harder until they stop ;) /s

This is to stop legal action, it's just a hole that they should cover :)

e; Just a thought, if those figures are correct regarding temps, why don't they reduce the temp? I guess transportation...
