i feel guilty after having one and never satisfied. .

Your sir need to head on down to your local Burger King and get your self one supreme triple cheeseburger! That will sort out the lack of satisfaction.

Burger king is nice but only once in a while as it's expensive and usually tastes pap.

Subway footlong fills you up ALL day.
If you're feeling like a fat-pie go for the Double Quarter Pounder with cheese meal from maccies.

Contradiction, you say it’s nice, and then it tastes like pap. So, pap tasting food is nice for you? Perhaps you should sample my cooking. You’d be well happy.. :p

I knew they would. I helped to open the first Subway franchise in the UK in Wolverhampton about 6 years ago now.

You sir missed out on the opportunity to spit in the G|mp's sarnie :D

ahaha, you're just wrong.

Burger king isnt as expensive as subway, and it tastes like actual burgers, as opposed to the crap plasticness of subway.

and i laugh in the face of your double quarter pounder with cheese from McD...they're tiny, pathetic, womanly burgers. maybe you're into small womanly food, i dont know. it certainly seems that way

I don't know about the beef burgers, but the chicken burgers in BK are incredibly bland :/

ROFL, I never said there was anything wrong with BK's food. They don't taste at all like burgers to me, but neither does maccies so when it comes down to it maccies is just usually more convieniant and cheaper. The XL burger from BK is good though, just a shame BK microwave most of their stuff.

There is nothing wrong with a good footlong ;)

Personally, if I want something that actually tastes like a burger - i'd just cook it myself or have a BBQ or something. Some smaller outlets are usually better for it anyway.

BK was good till they started serving their chips in those little packets so no-one would notice that they had 1/2 as much

i often find it to be an inconvenience staggering home from the pub, really wanting a burger and having to set the BBQ up at 3am, but to each his own i guess

As I can see it:
Opposite TGI (west quay retail park?)
West Quays top floor
Main high street opposite BK
Shirley high street
Burgess Road

Must be more lurking around

hehe, yea I know. Trying to cook a BBQ when you're drunk is hard enough as it is but it always wants to rain too! :p

I think if you're drunk anyway, it's more of a case of finding somewhere that's open rather than somewhere that tastes better than somewhere else :p

You're all wrong (until I find somewhere better). My local burger place > *.fast food :D

3/4lb of flame-grilled burger. Yum. Not to be taken regularly though. I'd recommend anyone going to i27 (that's a LAN, for the non-Gamers) take a detour and give them some custom. :)

Proves the point that local independants are often better than the chains, but, having said that, I do like Subway, but I suspect getting on with the manager of the one in Reading station helps. I did find Subway in the US before finding it in the UK though, so that may at least partly explain things. :)

Burger King all the way! Much nicer than McDonalds.

Also, McDonalds is just one big creche. You trip over kids on the way to the counter. Burger King's good once there's a McDonalds nearby, as it attracts the parents and kids away from Burger King.

You don't need much to fill you up then do you?

2 Footlong subs don't even come near filling me up :/
