...it's not always so clear cut and to be honest, whilst Subway may be healther than McDonalds, it's not exactly good by any stretch of the imagination - I wouldn't pick it over McDonalds purely on the basis health. No idea what a 'salt equivalent' is and whether it is any more or less healthy than actual salt though.
strangely enough, the steak and cheese sub is far healthier than the chicken & bacon ranch....which is fine by me

At McDonalds' large fries won't double your totals in the same way a 12" sub would.

Im confident I know more than the basics as well, and having one every so often has no negative effects what so ever
the negative effect is , you not knowing there is one.
Where did all the "unhygenic" comments come from. If you actually bother to look, you'll find that most Maccys get 4 or 5 star rating by the local councils.
You cant blag those rating either, as the local council visits are unannounced, by the time you realise your getting audited its too late to fix anything that will be detrimental to your score.
