McDonald’s Beef patties contain no preservatives and are made from 100% beef from British and Irish whole cuts of forequarter and flank. (October 2009)
In my local supermarket, when I goto buy lean mince, it is very expensive.
If this is true, then something like a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder is very healthy and a fantastic bodybuilding food (take note: Freefaller).
The problem is that, I don't believe what they are saying. Using pure, lean beef would work out very expensive.

Hang on though.
They claim that they use 100% British Beef.
They don't make any claims of what part of the animal they use, though. It could be entirely possible for them to use the fattiest parts of the animal in their burgers and perhaps selling the leaner cuts to other companies, for a higher price.
So, 100% beef could actually mean a very fatty burger.

Yes, yes they do!They don't make any claims of what part of the animal they use, though.

This thread as certainly attracted all the fast-food loving fatties.
I take it you haven't read any of Snowdog's other little gems then? He comes across as a petulant little brat who, if he doesn't get his own way, starts stamping his feet like a 5 year old.
McDonalds is brilliant! I've noticed all you OcUK folk are disturbed by anything even slightly less than middle or lower class.
Unfortunately, I only get around to eating it once every 3 years or so.
why so rarely?McDonalds is brilliant! I've noticed all you OcUK folk are disturbed by anything even slightly less than middle or lower class.

why so rarely?
Because I know that McDonalds food should not be eaten regularly and if I start eating, 1 burger will lead to another. Another burger will lead to another. And so on...
Hence, although delicious, regular sessions in McDonalds is not good.
