McDonald's

No they’re not, they’re abysmal from Greggs, tiny sausages and undercooked bacon. Only good thing is their coffee.
I'd never had breakfast from Greggs, but last weekend had a Sausage, bacon and egg baguette, with a flat white, it was decent, and much better value than McDonalds overall.

Me and the mrs both had a baguette, and a drink each and was £8 something, McDonalds usually works out around £9/£10 for a double sausage and egg mcmuffin meal for the pair of us.

Something about the ingredients used in the Greggs breakfast just seemed better sourced, no idea why I think that, seemed less processed I guess

The full English in a decent greasy spoon > everything.

Even Greg's breakfasts are better than McDonald's.

One thing I miss about living in London, around where I grew up there were 2 good cafes within about 10 minute walk. But almost seems like one around every corner.

Get a decent fry up, with chips. Or sometimes go fancy liver bacon and mash and gravy, or even pie and liqour.

You don't get that outside of London or at least anywhere around here.

Used to love the chicken sandwich. Tried the mc crispy today and it just isn't the same. Add to that fries without salt, and a chocolate milkshake I didn't finish before my paper straw dissolved. The end of maccy d's for me I'm afraid.

Never ever had a Greggs! I am intrigued now, there is one on the high street and yet to visit. Will have to investigate!

McDonalds, and Burger King are creeping up pricewise though, not quite the fast food bargain they were.

Agree that a proper belly-buster fry up beats all, the only thing it completely wrecks me, end up useless for the rest of the day. :o

Everything is creeping up price wise lol. Got a bag of Walkers salt and vinegar earlier, they used to be £1 but now they're £1.25. also, what happened to the smaller bags of crisps? They're all bigger bags nowadays with a minimum cost of £1.

Bought some Diet Coke Twisted Strawberry flavour and my god it's amazing. Highly recommended.

The McDonalds franchises have been losing money, costs have gone up so much they are actually struggling. They've all had their rents reduced by McDonalds so they can start making money again.

Maccies festive burger this year is the big tasty. Seems like they’re not really interested in developing new products any more or doing promotions like the tastes of America
They're doing a chicken big tasty in addition too. Don't think they've done this before but I'm not so sure it'll go well with the big tasty sauce. It's lovely with beef though.

For those starting to dabble in Gregg's more, get the app! Very generous app in comparison to others.

Must be over two years since I last had a McD's. Had a Mighty McMuffin yesterday. Was ******* great.
Never seen that, is it new? If I've ever had McD breakfast it's always double sausage and egg McMuffin and I'm a big fan of them. The mighty looks great, I'll have to try it next time.

Had a Big Tasty with Bacon meal earlier this week. Really good burger tbh.
