The video won't give the design away, but it needs a new nose anyway. The MP4/29 one doesn't meet the 2015 regulations.

As the child is colouring in using red, I suspect that it must be present on the new livery (I'm clever that way).

Dice, obviously you can't comment specifically, but can you say (or hint) that it will be a different colour to the boring old 'mclaren chrome' that we've had to endure for so many years?

I'll take any comment by you saying "I can't comment" as confirmation on the above

I few articles have all but confirmed that by stating that Mercedes are moving to a chrome livery this year.

( is there that big a "shade" difference between silver and chrome?)

So I mean to a chrome. They are silver at the moment. The reports were they are adopting the reflective chrome look to replace the flat silver look. Which would suggest they know McLaren aren't using it this year.

The articles also suggested the wheels might be chromed... which all sounds a bit... er... pimped?

For what it is worth, I love the chrome, it looks so so much better in the flesh.

The problem is 99.9% of people who see it never see it in the flesh.

It was rather dull in 2014 though, with the rocket red of Vodafone it looked better.

It was very dull in 2014, and when watched live from a distance it didn't stand out, it was just another car. Here's to hoping for some great contrasting colours. I'd love to see a return to the red and white.
