Can't believe I totally forgot about that when writing it, but anyway yeah he did have a spectacular season all things considered and that was essentially my point... no one would have put any good amount of money on him achieving what he did in 2014.

No red in the fire suit, so the red+white livery theory is pretty much out the window. It's hard to tell if that's even white or silver. Please god don't let it be another dull-ass silver/black livery.

Someone said the other day (think it was on autosport forum) that the car will be black and white, had it on good authority apparantly.

The SAP logo is blue this time though, what colour was it on the overalls last season? (it was yellow on the car itself).
Actually, can the more..'dedicated' viewers remind me if the overalls usually match the car's colour scheme?

Yeah Spanish news outlet Marca reckon the testing livery will be black with the sponsors white.

Blue on the overalls, yellow on the car (They have re-branded in America)

Overalls have historically been red (Marlboro era) or White/greay West on wards.

No real surprise for the modern McLaren. If it's anything like picking 2 drivers, then multiple board meetings wouldn't have resolved a whole livery change.

I would be quite happy to be surprised though in this case.

The only rumour I've been inclined to trust is the one saying the chrome has gone.

Looking at Alonsos overalls, I'm thinking predominantly black or white. I.e. dull.

I dont really care if it is black and white as long as it's fast, as someone else said - I'd rather have a bland livery on the car vying for podiums throughout the season than a great looking livery struggling to make Q3.
