It won't do anything to improve relations between Villa and Birmingham supporters. Thank god Birmingham got relegated if he does join Villa.

His return to Rangers in 2012 when McCoist has cocked it up and Villa are struggling in lower mid table is nothing if not predictable.

Birmingham's side was built on a solid CB pairing, their season ended when Johnson and Dann got injured.

Quite right, they were the basis of our promotion.

the story is that Johnson is available for transfer & Arsenal & Liverpool apparently are ready to offer £15 million for Dann.

Liverpool have been linked with Dann but I'm not sure we'd pay £15m for him.

I'd say Dann and Johnson for 20m would be good business but it still seems steep for centre backs of a relegated team.

You gotta feel sorry for Birmingham, after they are relegated, they stand by the manager and then he stabs them in the back, that said he did the same with Scotland so its no surprise.

It wouldnt surprise me to see him move to Man Utd as assistant to Sir Alex before possibly taking over when he retires.

I really dont see what Villa would see in McLeish. He has had a very lucky career in many ways but lets not forget he got his team relegated this season.
