Mcleish quits Birmingham

Cant believe it !!! I'm so disappointed and it's gonna crush my heart if he goes to Villa. Fair enough he plays a defensive game but I really believed if we had any chance to get back to the premier league we needed to keep him. I hear Forest have got rid of Davies so maybe his in line for the job. The club is going downwards at the moment and its not what we needed.

Would never happen, he's far too good a manager to go back to the SPL plus he was treated terribly by the Rangers fans and management.

He is not "far too good a manager", he is a shocking manager. At some point he will find his level and Rangers would enjoy the idea of getting a PL manager. Its a match made in heaven.

Shocking managers dont beat France, shocking managers dont win league cups.

He's a better manager than Water Smith, achieved more with less resources in England and the equal of what he did in Scotland. The facts stand up really.

Quite surprised by this, will be interesting to read what his reasoning's behind this is

Never sits well with me a manager leaving after relegating a club :/

Who is this Water you speak of?

I couldnt really give a toss what the facts show, he is a poor manager. All he had to do this season was win a couple of games post CC and everyone was happy - he couldnt do it.

"Water" is a poor manager too but thats another story.

if you actualy think this you have not got a clue mark.

Your the guy who supports one of the old firm, so i would suggest its you that hasnt got a clue. :p

McLeish while managing Motherwell split the old firm, a remarkable achievement.

He won the treble with Rangers and won the league the year after beating Martin O'Neil who is regarded as a great manager. He did it with a lot less money to spend.

He beat France as Scotland manager, in France.

Its just delusional to suggest he's not a good manager when his record would suggest he's an excellent one, far better than Martin O'Neill or Walter Smith.

Statistics prove otherwise.

He would never go back to Rangers though, he's too good for them, they would never be able to afford him.

Sally will be gone under the new owners as soon as he puts one foot wrong.

Big Eck will be the easy cheap option to pacify the fans.

Oh, Kenny Miller will re-sign too.
