Is anybody going?

We are wanting to go down in a friends Impreza to Prodrive on the second day, but we're a little confused as to if we'll actually be able to get in or not.

The website (here) says not to turn up on the day, but as i read it, was for the first day of Convoy...

Can anybody help clear this up?

Phil

I thought as much myself, my friend was convinced we would be able to get in at the fixed location on the second day, but i had my doubts!

No chance of getting a sticker now as all sticker sales have finished, so looks like that trip out is cancelled :)

Just got back!

We blagged a ticket (still paid full price for it), what a day!!!

1083 Subaru's turned up, 99.9% of which were Impreza's of all ages!!

Pics shortly.

Wondered what all the Impreza's were doing on the M6 yesterday! I joined at Junction 33 in the middle of the convoy. There were loads of people watching from the motorway bridges. They all tried to pile into Charnock Richard Services and were parked along the hard shoulder queueing up.

Out of ALL the bridges on the motorways that the Subaru's convoy'd on, only 3 bridges were left unattended.

There were flags waving, people stood waving, in the rain.

Probably a sight that i'll never see/experience again.

The noise was just awesome. I never seem to tire of the Scooby "burble", but it was just the most spine-tingling day i've ever had.

Oh, btw the best pic is yet to come.

At Warwick, they got ALL the Subaru's to park up, and spell "COLIN MCRAE" with the Scots Flag next to it, they say it was a sight flights to/from Birmingham airport could see, just waiting to see who uploads a pic of it, i think i'm going to buy one framed, was possibly one of the best meets i've been to.
