Is anybody going?

We are wanting to go down in a friends Impreza to Prodrive on the second day, but we're a little confused as to if we'll actually be able to get in or not.

The website (here) says not to turn up on the day, but as i read it, was for the first day of Convoy...

Can anybody help clear this up?

I've just spent all of 30 seconds reading the FAQ and it's utterly crystal clear that no sticker = no access to either the Convoy or the Prodrive day.

I thought as much myself, my friend was convinced we would be able to get in at the fixed location on the second day, but i had my doubts!

No chance of getting a sticker now as all sticker sales have finished, so looks like that trip out is cancelled

Try getting one off someone who might have dropped out?

Worth a quick email to the person who runs that site

Seems a silly idea myself, i can see the thinking behind not having any old car turn up, but you'd think it would be open to Subarus!

I think its to keep the numbers down, the police have more than lickly said to them they'll help out as long as there is so many people attending. Which is fair enough.

Just got back!

We blagged a ticket (still paid full price for it), what a day!!!

1083 Subaru's turned up, 99.9% of which were Impreza's of all ages!!

Managed to join the M42 in the middle of the convoy after stopping at Hopwood Park Services.

Was like "Why so many Scoobs!?" until I remembered this thread. There certainly were a lot!

saw quite a few subarus heading off from lanark was a pretty cool sight and sound.

Passed the convoy on the M40 today and it was an awesome sight, hadnt heard about it before hand so i was extremely surprised to see that many Imprezzas. It really was one hell of a sight .
