I don't need it for work no. Just personal use.

Oh sorry i misunderstood you when you said need to have emails instantly(and find it neccessary), i assumed you was in a job where it was mission critical hence why i thought you would have a exchange server

My apologies

Thanks. TBH only having this phone a day i haven't really seen the full features.

What is "push" email?

If you've got web'n'walk, then sign up for a mail2web account. There is a post some where with the details on setting this up. Works a treat on my vario.

Even on 3G I've found the internet speed to be quite slow.

Don't know what T-Mobile's setup is but the proxy and DNS servers are shockingly slow. Changed then to an alternative and it absolutely blazes through now!

Only problem is MSN no longer works so it looks like I'll have to switch back to the default T-Mobile settings.:(

Where did you find the alternative DNS servers? Could you post them here?

Try these DNS servers:

158.43.240.4
62.241.160.200

And for the Proxy server:

HTTP: 158.43.240.10:3128
Socks: 158.43.240.10:1080

A massive improvement over the default T-Mobile settings! Only problem is the proxy blocks the MSN port so it won't work.

Will give Agile Messenger a try though. :)

It works! Stopped using Agile for Symbian a while back as they decided to start charging for it, so never considered it for PPC.
