Meals you can eat with one arm

That'll put you in jail I'm afraid. All swans in the UK are crown property and it's an offence to kill or cook one.

I thought as long as you offered it to her majesty first it was ok.

I better warn the lads down Kentuky Fried Swan, thanks for the heads up mate! :p

Spaghetti? :D . I had this a while ago when i had surgery on my hand, try opening a pack of bacon with 1 hand  , i ended up stabbing it and whizzing it at the wall lol. I think i managed to eat most meals OK its the cooking part thats harder.

I'm struggling to think of something you couldn't eat with one arm :/

You can use the side of your fork as a knife for pretty much anything--unless you like eating steak the consistency of shoes, I guess.

Steak is easy, stab fork into steak lift to mouth chomp away.

I would suggest getting drunk.

Now wait..there's actually a logic behind this.

At Uni my favourite post-boozing food used to be mixed kebab, with chips instead of salad, with a side order of chips. In other words enough to occupy 2 hands without much room for maneouvring!...yet somehow I managed to eat the lot whilst walking back from the kebab shop without spilling it.

When attempting the same feat sober, failed miserably as it was impossible to use a fork or eat any of it without somehow ending up spilling something.

So...get drunk, and let the mystery alcohol fairy help you in your quest for eating, it seems like she holds the key to explaining near-impossible feats whilst under the influence!!

you can pretty much eat anything, just eat what you normally eat but avoid stuff where you would need a knife... you could stll "cut" most food well enough with the side of a fork unless its real chewy meat.

but then you said your mum is gonna be preparing your food anyway, ask her nicely to cut your food for you maybe?

we are having fish and chips tonight :)

Mum is gonna cut it up for me :)

After today in screwed thought. They are going on holiday for 2 weeks :(

Can anyone think of food that I could COOK with one hand safely. I could be eating on my own for 2 weeks :(

anything you can whack on a grill / machine (toasties etc) / oven will be easy to make and eat one handed, though washing up might be hard :D unless you got a dishwasher
