someone acting dumb on a forum is one thing
telling them their actions were dumb is fine within reason
reporting them to the police is just as bad
you guys need to calm down, Blackhawk shouldn't have posted the video, and allowing himself to be baited like that wasn't the best way to go either.
but those involved with that thread need to understand where you were in the wrong.
the moderating team are drawing a line under these kind of threads in future.
Witch hunts will not be tolerated on these forums.

The plans is pretty much out the window though. Given that other posters here would report someone else to the police I really wouldnt be surprised if the same moron would delibrately downshift to 2nd at 100mph just because they got to have a go in your car

I don't understand this? The only problem was Blackhawk was unable to accept opinion. If the mods are going to continue to control ones opinion on a forum then doesn't that contradict an open public forum in the first place?
Some things baffle me regarding the moderation of this forum. Showing some female skin in the pictures and gif thread and it's instantly removed as this is a "family forum", but a mod can post a picture of himself in a mankini saying happy birthday and it's approved? Blackhawk was promoting speeding whilst using a mobile phone, aka breaking the law on 2 accounts. Now I don't particularly support the report to police thing, but surely moderators of this forum should stick to their "family forum" policy. More damage can be done from the actions taken by Blackhawk than seeing a females gluteus maximus...
anyway I'll leave it there and let this thread get back OT

blackhawk has been dealt with in an appropriate manner justified by his actions and previous posting history.

Unfortunately there aren't too many long quiet roads nearby. I'll have to go and find some when the weather gets a little better.
