Yes, but it depends on the board. I'd recommend getting RAM on the QVL if you choose to go with an XMP kit.can you still use XMP
If you're going with an X3D CPU then 6000 or 5600, 6000 C30 is considered optimal, but there's not a huge difference.what speed would be ideal

Why those parts?Going to go with a 9000 series chip, with an Aorus Master X670E
They have separated their QVL into 9000 and 7000, so if you go on the website you can check out whatever RAM you buy.Going to go with a 9000 series chip, with an Aorus Master X670E
Looks okay, bit pricey for me, but not that much relative to a build cost. What do you think of this it's on thier QVL seems reasonably priced too,
2, definitely 2.The question I have is, would you buy 2 x 32GB sticks or 4 x 16GB sticks to fill all the slots?
Is it still the case 4 sticks are better than 2?
It may have improved with the release of the new 9000 CPUs and BIOS updates, but yeah, 4 sticks has not been good at all.Looks good as well when all the slots are full but if you say 4 sticks may cause issues maybe just get 2 sticks

Forgive my ignorance, but would a pair of RGB dummy kits be exempt?Do not run DDR5 in a 4 DIMM config unless you want to spend ages troubleshooting it or running it at 3600 MT/s speed.
I think so but I don’t know.Forgive my ignorance, but would a pair of RGB dummy kits be exempt?
Yeah, this is my understanding too.Dummy modules have no memory chips on them so don't affect performance, also never heard of any performance problems with anyone using them.
