I know EXPO is for AMD but can you still use XMP and is there much difference.

I'm getting a DDR 5 kit preferably G.Skill what speed would be ideal what are your recommendations?

Yes, but it depends on the board. I'd recommend getting RAM on the QVL if you choose to go with an XMP kit.

If you're going with an X3D CPU then 6000 or 5600, 6000 C30 is considered optimal, but there's not a huge difference.

Non-X3D CPUs, I'd get the kits with tighter timings because the performance loss is a little higher, unless you're going with large capacity kits (32x2).

9000 CPUs might be able to push a bit higher on average, to 6200/6400, but I haven't seen enough comments to know that yet.

I'm going to wait for the X3D versions,

Is it worth it or better to go with the 7000 series, had the previous Aorus Masters, love the connectivity, performance and never had any issues

What do you think of this it's on thier QVL seems reasonably priced too,

The question I have is, would you buy 2 x 32GB sticks or 4 x 16GB sticks to fill all the slots?

Is it still the case 4 sticks are better than 2?

Looks okay, bit pricey for me, but not that much relative to a build cost.

2, definitely 2.

DDR5 CPUs hate 4 sticks.

Looks good as well when all the slots are full but if you say 4 sticks may cause issues maybe just get 2 sticks

It may have improved with the release of the new 9000 CPUs and BIOS updates, but yeah, 4 sticks has not been good at all.

AMD rate 9000 CPUs to 5600 for 2x sticks, or just 3600 for 4x sticks, so I think that is a sign they're still suggesting you don't do it.

Going to go with a 9000 series chip, with an Aorus Master X670E

Unless there is something you absolutely need from an E board then you are throwing money at nothing.

I'd highly recommend looking at a B series board specced for your expansion requirements. The higher end boards all boil down to expansion in the main, not performance.

Thank you for chiming in everyone. in my vanity, I forked out for a Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 Lighting Enhancement Kit to pair with the genuine x2 32GB sticks for the rig I'm gradually building. So I was concerned for a moment. Cheers.
