Hi All,

I just built my new PC and i have a ryzen 7 3700x, gigabyte auros pro wifi x570 mb with 16gb ram 3200 (cl-16-18-18-36).

The motherboard is on version F3.

When the XMP profile is disabled, i have no issues and the ram runs at 2133mhz.

However if i enable XMP profile 1, where the ram goes to 3200mhz - after booting to windows i keep getting the blue screen issue "memory management" and i need to restart.

Why is this, i checked online, the ram i have is very good (3200mhz corsair vengeance rgb pro 2x8gb) - it should be able to handle 3200mhz easily.

Thanks

thanks - its very disappointing, all the reviews online said these were great rams to get.

Still wondering if its some setting in the BIOS.

Will try and exchange for another brand tomorrow.

Just an update - incase it helps anyone else (or if i have done osmething totally wrong without realising it!)

I ran memtest68 to see if any issues at 2133mhz 15-15-15-36 - none found

I disabled XMP
changed memory clock from 21.33 to 32
change dram voltage from auto to 1.36v
changed timings to 16-18-18-18-36 (not sure why there was 5 timings instead of 4)

Now the ram is running at 3200mhz (1600mhz) - no crashes or BSOD.

I will run memtest68 later to confirm stability under stress.

Thanks
