Men using sun beds

Moisturisers work. I said moisturisers are pointless on lots of people who don't have any form of skin condition, yet the plaster it on noon and night, simply because they believe it's good for them. The placebo effect is quite humorous when you watch it first hand.

If you have a skin problem, good for you, but I'm not changing my stance that most puffs could do perfectly fine without them. It's amazing and sad how many people think their body will fall apart unless they pump it full of moisturiser. :o

Meh, well i use a decent razer and shaving foam. Yet i do get some irritation the odd time after shaving, i use after shave balm and i use moisturiser from time to time, not everyday.

But i don't think looking after your skin is gay, neither is improving your skin colour. But as it has been said some people will think its gay no matter what.

Nothin' wrong using sunbeds before going on holiday.

Nothing worse than seeing people in shorts with white-as-a-sheet legs at the beach or near the pool ! lol

Gay Rays - I Embrace You ! :p

I used sunbeds for 5 years up to 6 sessions a week when i got addicted, cost me an utter fortune. About 40-50 quid a month, dont touch them now havent for ages, about 2 years. They ARE addictive, there was a tv program on a year ago about them and the effects they have. I dont have a problem with men using them but keep it to once a week tops.

First thing that popped into my mind was Samantha Carter. See, I don't use sun beds and I think of fit birds.

A sun bed user would have thought of one of the male members of SG1 :D

What homophobic fools this is bringing out. Sunbeds big deal its up to the individual. Yes I know as is a personal opinion. But sorry I know many gay men and woman that do not use sunbeds. I know many straight woman that do. So all this gay ray rubbish - ludicrous.
What do those of you do that go to a hotter climate hide under the umbrella? No I expect most go out and get a tan because they think they look healthier because of it. Not because they are gay. No difference IMO than going on a sunbed.
Me? Used on at the gym before I go abroad to give the skin a kick start. Gay no but that should not matter.
I have never read so many homophobic comments

You know gay men? Do you let them touch you?

Right ive just had a letter through the door from my gym and it gave me a free 5 minute sunbed session. Im sort of tempted by this as im really pasty white due to my bedroom tan :p My questions:
1. Is this for men, or is it a bit gay? yes its gay
2.Does this really cause skin cancer? yes
3. How long should you stay in a sunbed for? dont know
4. How long until you start seeing the results? dont know
5. what do you wear, im not going comando? pants

So.....

.......is it best to use a low factor sun protection lotion before using the sunbed sun showers (stand up sunbeds) ??
maybe the reason you are not getting a reply to this is because people don't want to:
a - give you incorrect advise
that
b - may cause you long term damage

i cannot condone or advise using a sunbed, or give you advise on how to do it safely as there is no safe way to expose yourself to radiation!!!
for heavens sake if the only reason for using it is vanity - get yourself some fake tan
