Mens clothing.... what are you wearing?

I don't particularly look at brand names for the sake of it. But I've found I tend to buy these sorts of clothes from these companies:

Jeans - Levis, Gap stretch and Banana Republic traveler pants
Chino's - Various but I quite like the Banana Republic ones
Work shirts - Various but never wear them anymore
Casual shirts - Whatever fits best and feels good. Charles Tyrwhitt seem good but I have various shirts. I tend to stick to plain white, blue and pink OCBD's.
T-Shirts - Uniqlo in black, grey and navy.
Polo Shirts - Banana Republic in black, white and navy although they seem to have stopped selling the ones I like.
Shoes - Various but Loake (their UK made range) and Herring own brand seem good. I lean towards wearing a lot of chukka boots in brown suede or leather.
Trainers - Adidas, Nike, Herring. Usually plain white or black leather.
Jackets - Again various. I have an excellent Rab down jacket, Rab waterproof jacket, Marks and Spencer Harrington (made in England range from a few years ago), Soul Revolver leather jackets, Reiss suede jackets and a Charles Tyrwhitt peacoat. A latest edition is a Rogue Territory waxed canvas jacket in tan.
I'm particularly pleased with the quality of the peacoat which is a wool and cashmere mix. I find some of the CT clothes really good quality.
Underwear - Marks and Spencer cotton socks and Marks and Spencer microskin trunks are fantastically comfortable.
Hoodies - Isobaa merino wool hoodie which I adore. I need another more hard wearing hoodie so I'll probably try a Uniqlo one.
Jumpers - Typically Uniqlo merino wool in black, grey and navy.

As can be seen I tend to wear neutral colours in quite plain clothing without patterns or logos; navy, blue, grey, black and occasionally olive and tan. Most days I'll wear jeans, a t-shirt, maybe a merino jumper and either trainers or suede chukkas.

I forgot to add, New Balance need a lot of love. They make a range in the UK up north that are amazing quality. I have two pairs that are 2/3 years old which is bonkers for everyday wear trainers.

I also found Jaeger really good for jumpers. Patagonia for outdoor jackets.

Underwear: M&S or John Lewis.
Chinos: M&S
Tee-shirts: random
Polo shirts: Lands End
Work shirts: varous, but I've not purchased any for some years.
Jackets: Slaters.
Suit: Burton.
Shoes: various. If there were an actual shoemaker hereabouts I would spring for handmade shoes.
Jumpers: the clothes moths have eaten most of them. I'm winning the war, but it's not yet won.

I have a big problem with clothes as I require a Tall fitting and that's rare these days.

I tend to use 2 quality gents shops for most of my stuff. Mankind in Lichfield and Blacks Menswear in Stafford. Shoes I buy mainly online from brands I like same with trainers and some sports wear. I’m 54 and my weight tends to go up and down like a yo yo.

Don't mind about brands, rather pay for substance than style (most times anyway).

PSA - People that care at all about brand names on their clothing provide the single easiest way to discern human scum.
Coming from the guy that'll only buy name brand fitted kitchen units for his living room :cry::cry:

Hoodies - Isobaa merino wool hoodie which I adore.

This looks excellent. I'll definitely be buying one!

For me, i'm similar to @moon man, i generally spend very little on regular clothes (although i'm a fan of the Uniqlo polo shirts), but on running/activewear i'll spend a decent amount as i find there's a bigger difference between the decent stuff and cheaper wear.

Don't forget to finish your ensemble off with a gucci belt.

Dissapointed it took 10 posts! :D

I wear nothing designer.
My main expensive clothing is my sports/sea wear.
I'll spend waaay more on sports stuff.
I think my wetsuit was 150 and that's not even expensive. Goggles were 40.

I have geeky t shirts and trackie bottoms/shorts mostly now as I'm at home most of the time!

Most time I'm out is sportswear!
