That's OK, because he is excepting bidders with 5+ bids, so I guess he's accepting bidders with less than 5 bids.
Why do people get so wound up about watchers? The number of watchers is only useful to see how many people are actually viewing your auction, it's rarely representative of the number of people that are properly interested in buying.
Bids are the only important thing, if you don't get many of them it suggests you have priced your item too high, your auction listing is crap or you are a mentalist and have proved this to the world by adding your frothing rants to the auction.
Well he got back to me claiming that it's never had any head gasket leak so I think I'll link him to his post on the BMW forum he uses

I assumed a pre-facelift 320i used the M52TUB20 engine listed on the wikipedia but it seems it may not be in UK cars. my mistake
The watch function seems pretty handy as I've always just bookmarked auctions instead.

There were no UK e46 with that particular engine, the 320i was onlookers introduced when the M54 arrived and was always a 2.2 with 170bhp.
