as with everything indy servicing is cheaper normally short term not always long term

if you get a good one great if not hmmmmn

i use

MBS in exeter and (pete)
mercare in plymouth (eddie)

for my stuff depending...

normally a bit better than main dealer pricing and if you know the mechs and what cars they are into it helps tbh

especially more so with classic type stuff

but even so indies are worth a call if they are ex main dealer guys

not someone who just thinks i like mercs and i want a garage...

I always use MBS in Exeter, Pete and the guys in there really do know their stuff.
their prices are 1/2 what Merc Exeter charge and the service (personally) I find superior.
(plus Pete owes me a go in his CSL! haha)

Anyone with a Mercedes would be crazy to pay stealer prices. Have been tempted to use MBS myself...might do for my next service.

MBS seem expensive, the money they want for BMW Servicing can get you main dealer servicing

They want £170 for an Oil Service on an E39 530i - I have never, ever paid that for an oil service and its never been serviced outside of the BMW dealer network. I paid Rybrook BMW just over £100 for the last one!

I've had a c class myself and they are great cars :) rock solid and reliable. I'm not an auto man but the Merc autos are very clever and switch to how you want to drive etc etc.

I am a little shocked too how cheap they are so try an get a sport if you can they look much better.

I found servicing alright, had a local specialist but the dealer prices were hillarious for something's. I asked about comand and was quoted £7000! Got it done for £999 instead :D
