I'll eat my own hand if that car doesn't eat it's own tyres for the fourth year in a row.

Don't be shocked if they stop development after a handful of races and claim they are understanding the tyres and how to setup the car and then at the last race they still don't understand anything

It's not been officially launched, just a lap of media filming. Think the proper unveil is 12.30/1pm.

Didn't Merc do the same thing last year? A day of Media filming before launch where a bunch of pictures were leaked to the press, and then just a pitlane launch of a car everyone had already seen the following day?

It trended worldwide, smashed the Mercedes website and got them a lot of exposure.

Mr PR/Marketing guy is probably very happy with himself, not overly concerned with the irritated F1 fans that are waiting to see a car.

That and the fact the official launch is prob going to go off as planned in Jerez - it's all good in their eyes I imagine
