Is there retro appeal for records again? I can remember when in 6th form or just after, so maybe 2004-2006 ish a mate got something like that, of course records were old hat then, but there was a bit of a retro revvival if memory serves (maybe in geekier circles though?) and then I thought for the most part it melted away - is it back again.... and.... is that really rather rapidly approaching 20 years ago! :eek:

Yup and the retro appeal is reflected in the price tag of the 'turntables' and the 'vinyl' ie record player, records, albums etc :)
 
I've been tempted to buy a Discman to force me to listen to an entire album while I'm out. I still have a big CD collection and hardly anyone does that anymore it seems.
