Hello all!

I have a meshify c case and have just purchased some new rgb fans for it. In terms of intake and exhaust what is classed as best, i did get six fans but im thinking maybe thats abit overkill considering the case has generally good airflow anyway. Ive seen a few posts for this case that 2 intake and one exhaust is plenty enough? But i was thinking doing 2 intake 120mm qnd 2 exhaust one being placed on the top rear, again 120mm. Is this a good thing to do? Or shall i just place the 2 intake and one rear? Then ill just return the other 3 i have got or shall i go all out and place all the fans? Any advice would be fantastic.

2 intake 1 exhaust is fine but 3 at the front 1 rear and 1 top would give you more airflow and rgb goodness .

Leaving 1 spare as a replacement.
After having a closer look, id only really get 3 120mm on the front if i take the psu compartment out. Also the placement of the top rear exhaust fan would that interfere with the cpu heat at all? Sorry im fairly new with pc building, if i sound stupid

Is there not a little panel you cant take out the psu shroud at the ftont to fit a lower fan instead of removing the whole shroud ?

The fan at the top wont interfere with the cpu cooling im my experience .

It does look asif you can remove a section yes, as there is a sqaure looking cut out in the shroud, also there is some slots as where i can place a 3rd fan on the front panel. I just didnt want to take out screws i have no idea or what would be removed. I did think about trying it but i also thought as the rest of the shroud would be there it would just block air (if makes sense) but then again i assume it will also work with cooling gpu. As its gonna be placed lower. Thank you for you help tho! Really appreciate it

Your welcome.

It would be fairly straightforward removing and fitting a few screws just like screwing in a fan.

Good luck whichever you choose.

Thank you, sorry to be a pain my motherboard only has four headers (sys fan 1-4) 4 pin. I understand i will need a splitter? The fans i have are corsair sp120's do i need a specific splitter, i see there is many options on amazon but im not sure if i need one that works for certain fans or does that not matter? Haha proper noob me

Rgb fans go into a specific rgb header on the motherboard i think you can connect up to 3 vis a splitter but im not to sure. You may need a fan hub to connect more than 3 unless you have 2 rgb headers but look into this further.

The rgb comes with a lighting core box which has six slots for fan rgb side., so they dont need to be plugged into the motherboard however the fans itself need to be plugged into the motherboard to power which i only asume goes into the sytem fan headers. I have 4 headers so i assume to add more fans ill need some sort of splitter? Hope this makes more sense. Unless i have got the wrong idea of how these actually connect!
Hopefully others can confirm this.
