Messi to Inter, for 90m Euros + Adriano:
Inter Preparing 90 Million Euros Plus Adriano For Messi
According to embryonic reports reflected in Italy’s ‘Corriere dello Sport’ newspaper, FC Barcelona’s young Albiceleste star will be the object of a Massimo Moratti approach. The idea is to bring Messi to San Siro as the biggest bombshell Nerazzurri signing since Ronaldo arrived – also from Camp Nou.

The ‘Corriere dello Sport’ reported Inter as readying a 90 million Euro bid to be sweetened by the inclusion of discontent marksman Adriano. Moratti is confident that the size of the offer will be enough to sway even the declared hardheartedness of Barça President Joan Laporta; determined to hold onto both Messi and Ronaldinho.

With Eto'o still in dry dock with his knee ligament problem, the ‘Corriere dello Sport’ saw Adriano’s ‘gift’ inclusion as being a distinct catalyst for the deal to go through. “The money that Barça would get for selling Messi will help the Catalan club pay for a Ronaldinho renewal for the next six years, as the Brazilian is looking for 12 million Euros per year and this deal would cover that”, explained the Italian article.

I'd be v.suprised if that happened.

On a side note Sheva. Also doubtful.

Thats ridiculous. Sure, he's a good player but is he better than Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney or Fabregas? I don't know.

He's playing in a league of slack tackles, could he ply his trade in the Premiership, I'm not so certain, though I would love to see him try.

He's good, but I can't help but think he's vastly overrated. Thinking back to the 3-2 England game vs Argentina I can't help but remember them dragging him off because for 70 or so minutes he did absolutely nothing.

He has played against Chelsea three times and given them serious problems every time he has played them. They won't admit it but they just don't know how to cope with him, they have tried kicking him off the park, man marking and nothing has worked that well. Made Ashley Cole (who has had Ronaldo in his pocket near enough every time he plays against him) look very average and Cole is usually an expert at dealing with tricky attacking players. Chelsea are still the best team in this league and if he can give them problems he can give any other team in this league problems.

His close ball control is absolutely amazing, I've never seen a player who is in control of the ball like him, he is just so hard to get off the ball and I've seen so called top class defensive players made to look very silly. I'd go as far as saying he is the best dribbler in the world right now and most importantly he has an end product at the end of his dribbles, very intelligent player and knows when to shoot, cross or pass the ball. If he carries on at this rate he will probably be the best in the world by the time he is 26 no doubt about it. I thought people were getting carried away as well but then I made an effort to watch him more often and the guy is pure class.

You wanna highlight one game he did poorly but has Rooney, Ronaldo or Fabregas not had a bad game? As for whether he is a better player than those three I'd say he is though comparing him to Fabregas is wrong as they are completely different types of players. He would do well in any league he plays in.

Barca also won't sell him, more valuable to them then Ronaldinho so no way they will let him go.

I know Inter are a big Italian side, but where on earth would they get that kind of money from? I wasn't aware they had the bazillion-dollar backing the kind of clubs who can spend that much (Real, Barca, Chelsea, maybe AC & Man Utd) do.

And Shevchenko back to AC? Are they serious? I mean, I know he's not set the world on fire as many people were expecting, but he's done alright, and certainly not bad enough to get rid of. Both Ballack and Cole have taken their time to find themselves too, and 4-5-1 isn't going to bring out the scoring machine in him.

90million jesus, and adriano, that is an insane deal.
Messi is a very good player no doubting it but that is too much money for one player. especially considering how good adriano is in exchange.

ye but i would say lennon makes cole look pretty average when he has played against him.

As did Ronaldo in the World Cup (who was in my opinion, the best player there).
I didn't purposely put the one game where he played badly, I've seen him play poorly a number of times, thats just one that most will remember as it involves the national side.

Moratti is almost as loaded as Roman.

I wouldnt say no. :p

Heard Messi has broken his foot so maybe this won't happen ;)

As for Milan they are really struggling without Sheva, it is clear they miss him even though Kaka has stepped up a few levels but his best has come in the CL so far. Inzaghi and Gilardinho have struggled for goals this season. They have conceded 12 goals and only scored 11 which is very unlike them

Lennon is actually some who reminds me a lot of how Messi plays, both will more often than beat their man but Messi uses the ball a lot better after beating his man.

I don't recall Lennon playing against Cole when he was with us so can't comment on that, I think you are referring to last weeks game but I didn't watch it so can't comment.

Milan yesterday were pretty dire, full marks to Roma though, they are doing fantastic, still without a striker ;) Looks like Totti is back on form again. Aquilani as been pipped to start in the friendly for Italy as well, thoroughly deserved, love to see young talent coming through like that. Was always a problem for the old skool Italians, was very difficult for young talent take Pirlo for example he was a wonderful young talent but really hit the international level when he was about 24/25 after his stints at Inter and then at Milan he was really noticed for his abilities.

Back on topic, When i read this a couple of days ago it seemed a bit far fetched really, but if it means Adriano leaving then I’m all up for it! I doubt it will ever happen though :(

Judging from last year, i wouldnt have said we were missing him, Gila was banging in just as many, but he's been awful this year. The en-mass injurys we have dont help either.
The way we're going, we're gonna be lucky to get a top 10 finish this season!.
Yet stranging, we're doing fine in Europe?

Carlo made Pirlo. Turned him from a bit-part midfielder, into a defensive playmaker. Stroke of genius.

i dont know if milan were dire. frm what i saw seedorf hit the bar, followed up by that ex Betis striker Oliveirea also hitting the bar, and that was a 20 min spell during the first half

Well said and agreed, Messi is extremely important to Barca as he's young and still hasnt hit his prime.
Plus i dont rate Adriano that highly even though he's Brazilian and i love Brazilian players as it is but hes not that good tbh.

Id be very very surprised if Barca let Messi go for 90mill Euros and Adriano but you just never know in football.

As for the Sheva link, interesting to say the least...if anything Sheva has been the biggest flop in the premiership this season imho...i think Chelsea wasted a hell of a lot of cash on him...i dont think the premiership suits him...whereas Serie A suited him to the ground but then the Serie A imo isnt as tough as the premiership.
