Has anybody tried this with a Pentium D 805 at standard clock and volts
as i'm getting one later this week and i don't think the Asrock dual 775
VSTA that i'm putting it in is a very good overclocker.

Hello everybody,
I am author of MetaBench. I was looking at 7byte.com hit stats and stumbled upon this forum. It was interesting(and an honour) to see this old freebie still has interest.
As you may have guessed, this application doesn't scale well with the new dual core processors. It was developed when HyperThreading had just debuted. And after all it was a beta, but I never really got to update it due to other preoccupations.
I would like to let you know that I have been working a new version of the program, completely built from scratch. The new version will have more real world test(i.e, audio compression, encryption, image manipulation) as well as scientific benchmarks such as Linpack. Most of the tests are multithreaded, except those which do not have a multithreaded implementations in the real world either(Such as zip).
I am interested in having some people beta test the new version. If you are interested please email me at [email protected]. Please send me specifications of system you are planning to run MetaBench on. I specially would like to test it on newer model processors such as the Core processor or Athlon 64.
PS: I cannot respond to everybody and I will have to select a very few for beta testing.

hmm what are your ram timings there? mine only gets just over 8k with a much higher clockspeed. somethings not right

what speed are you running yours at?
Jems had his in single channel mode and got 7800 @ just under 4Ghz
