Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

For all the criticism I've levelled at this game, I have had some decent replay value out of it & it looks fantastic on the PS4. I've played the main mission another couple of times, found some collectables and done a few of the side missions now too.

Still not worth £20-30, but that can be forgiven with the lack of decent titles on the PS4 at present. Typical Metal Gear OTT cutscenes & plot, but not having codec conversations pausing the game really helps the gameplay flow a lot better.

For £20 on release day though?

I've finished the Ground Zeroes mission and done one of the side ops, rather enjoying it so far and there's plenty of different routes and approaches to take, weapons to find etc. The lack of decent conversation between Snake and Miller is disappointing though, all the radio comms are pretty-much just Miller telling you about things you're looking at.

Really enjoyed this and would gladly pay another £20.00 for another 2 hours that I've spent on it. I love the sound, graphics the attention to detail and the music. The phantom pain is going to be epic, no1 on my most anticipated list. Potential for my fave game ever (deus ex) to finally be topped :)
 
Kurt Russell would have been my choice to replace Hayter, if it had to be done, since he was the original original Snake.

Who knows how Snake would have turned out if not based on Russell's portrayal of Pliskin.

I own those 2 movies on Bluray, despite not even liking them...but something about the cheesyness of them made me have to have them! lol

Really hope Phantom Pain delivers when it hits. Was really dissapointed with MGS4 but this, among a few other games have the potential to be mind blowing. Games have been dire in recent years but the future has so much potential it's insane

To be honest I wasn't following that closely to know which game was being referred to, it just amused me to quote a spoiler then reveal what it said, :D I cant resist not clicking spoilers most of the time. :P I bought MGS4 and never actually bothered to play it. Hopefully theyll remake it for next gen. Although by all accounts its a lot of watching movies so youtube might be a good option. :)
