meths?

I enjoy challenging 'normal' conventions....
Thinks back to my athlon 700 over clocked to 1GHz with duct tape on the heatsink....

ahhhhhhhh:;)

I'm thinking of having it 'boil' in the water block and then condence in the rad... (starts whistling) has anyone tried it?

Who said theird be any presure in the rad?
Who said Id use a rad?
You did, lmao.

Maybe a length of copper as a condensing coil in a cooling media? As the liquid boils, even open ended, it'll pressurise from the change in volume and pipe restrictions. You may even get a steam cannon at the open end.

You'd be better of feeding the compressed air into a vortex tube for a supercooled jet.

I seen a thread where a guy dug a big hole, and used an old propane cylnder filled with water, ran a pipe system through it, too and from the PC, burried it in the hole and used this as a heat exchanger. Ground temp is very constant most year round, and the large surface area made for efficient cooling.

My rig is near my from door, I have always thought of trying this, but i think my wife would think me nuts (probably on the meths) and leave!

I do thing the meths idea a little risky. Get a cheep fridge/freezer from argroos and make a chiller block.....

aaaah you've seen burgermans setup too :)

Johns a bit mad though
