Advanced DoF on? If so your rig is nowhere near on par to run that setting, should be able to do the rest, though.
It's your graphics card, turn the AA down to the lowest it can go and turn depth of field off.
Edit: Also Advanced PhysX, only runs well with a decent enough Nvidia card or a dedicated PhysX card.

Gonna need a 7990 for that, don't think my 6990 will cut if, my 5970 didn't on the previous Metro
If it uses Nvidia PhysX again, then AMD cards will suffer at certain parts of the game just like the first, it was the only setting that caused me to get unplayable framerates, once Adv PhysX was turned off i was fine.

I saw in a interview, devs saying that they got 70 fps Average on a single gtx 590 at 1080P maxed out.
Problem is (as i mentioned above), if they use Nvidia Adv.PhysX again, high end AMD cards will be forced to turn them off so you get lesser PhysX, and tbh Metro 2033 looks brilliant with Adv.PhysX.

Anyone think that HUD looks awful?
The "pickup" icons are not necessary and the HUD is too obtrusive?
The Market and Inventory system look much better though!

Yes, a great looking game but will be badly marred if that is really the new HUD...
Ugh... Pre-order for ranger mode?! And I'm guessing it's still on the disc and only disabled 
Was planning on buying it upon seeing positive user reviews a bit after release, but now... I'll likely wait for that (presumably) timed exclusive to expire and a decent sale discount by then.
