I haven't ordered from Shopto for ages due to the fact they're so expensive now.
I ordered this game from Game Collection. Got an email today saying it had been despatched so I should get it tomorrow.

I don't mean getting it a day early from Amazon, I mean they've stopped sending it a day early and only dispatching to me on release day for some reason, unless I choose carrier delivery, most odd.

Regardless, so long as it arrives tomorrow I should be able to get some decent gaming in over the weekend.

All games have free release day delivery if you choose 1st class. I order all my games from them and they always dispatch prior to release and arrive on the actual release day. Its a tight service
 
I admit it's strange. I only chose first class as I'm not around today, I'd normally get a courier with my prime account.

Same thing has happened with DVDs etc before now.....moral of the story is get it couriered to work like usual :p

Exactly the issue I had with my pre-order. Means they didn't have enough stock but they let you do it anyway.

Wow so even digital is cheaper than Shopto.
 
Shopto now put it up to £34.85! I know you can't sell digital, I rarely buy digital games for this reason as not many games hold my interest.

This use to be the case for me but not anymore. With First Class delivery the last two games have come the day after release :(.
 
I really don't like the sections fighting the mutant creatures in this game. You're just stuck in a confined area and the game chucks loads at you and each one takes about a whole clip to kill.

Yeah i noticed that as well, some parts have taken me ages to get past. I also think that ammo is very limited in the game as well
 
My problem are areas with unlimited enemies that just respawn one after another. In real life, I'd prefer to clear out the whole threat before even attempting to find any parts, etc I need..

I don't mind limited ammo as it makes things tense but having every enemy take loads of bullets to kill AND having limited ammo is just a cheap way of making the game seem harder.

I haven't come across one of those sections yet but I suspect they'd annoy me.
 
Are there not two play styles that will effect this from what I read in the previews? Basically Call of Duty or Survival Horror? (Spartan and Survival modes I think).
 
I download these last night, i played through metro for about an hour, really enjoying it so far.

I'm playing on Survivor and Normal mode at the moment as i've never played these games before.
 
£28 from Argos, was rude not to get it at that price. Didn't even know it was coming out

Really like it so far, visually it's pretty good except the character models, their faces all look hilarious
