metro redux

Can you play on your UK account or do you need to use the US one... ?

I already had a US account on my PS4 and have been buying steam codes from Amazon.com for a few years so it was very easy.

Just bought a $50 code from Amazon, Popped it on my US psn account. Bought, downloaded and changed my USA account to primery and now games works on my UK tag.

I only have one account, originally setup to UK. I just swap to the US store, make the purchase, and swap back.

Hi, is there a guide on how to do this? I have been buying games is the usa for pc for about a year now. Would love to know how to do this for PS4:D

I'm enjoying this but the FOV is far too narrow for me and I'm finding it a bit hard to play.

Superb job on the conversion it looks as good as PC with just 1/3 of the screen missing.

Yeah I'm really not liking the FOV. :(

Ended up putting this down after about half an hour. I guess it's because I've played it in the past (on PC) so it's nothing new to me. Just feels so sluggish too.

It seems to be how they are getting the 1080p 60fps by using a very narrow fov. Tbh I wish they would just go 720p but increase the fov as I find this almost headache inducing.

Still a great game though.

The FOV isn't any shorter than the console originals is it? :)

The Redux is based on the PC versions from what I read. I never played them on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

Ah fair enough. I played though the Original Metro on the 360 without any issues but thankfully I'm not sensitive to the FOV on these games.

I never played the original, found 2033 very average at best, both gameplay and graphics are showing its age. Last Light is a much better game in every way and looks much more next-gen.

If I knew what I know now, I would have just purchased the digital copy of Last Light. 2033 isn't worth it unless you want it for the backstory.

Has anyone managed break through the 1st blockade on the trolley section of chapter 4 yet. Seems to be an endless amount of bad guys on the left and no amount of shootings breaks it down. Been stuck here now for over a day and have died about 60 times.

Anyone managed to do it, if so how?

Is this when you're
manning the turret through the reich base?
. I've just come out of chapter 4 and died once on it, I found the controls for shooting a bit odd as you have to use both sticks.

Have there been any gameplay improvements with these updated versions? Most interested if they made the stealth element work at all in metro 2033.

I've done some stealthy bits so far; creeping around in the dark, sneaking up on enemies and taking them out or throwing a knife at them. Seems to work well.

Rented this one as already have LL on PS3 via PS+ but never played it.

Started Metro 2033 and after an hour I find it to be a very dull experience.
The character dialogue and NPC interactions ruin the atmosphere and immersion (not that there is much of that to start with)

They just randomly start talking mid sentence without any context.

Also you hear enemy sounds to build up supposed tension then they just kind of appear with very minimal sound. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing sound bugs or if it's just the game?? But It really stands out to me and ruins any decent aspects the game may have. I'm running along then an enemy is behind me attacking me with no sound at all...

Plus the way the game keeps cutting to black and starting the next chapter is not very appealing. The sections only last 3-5 minutes then it's doing it again.

I tihnk I'll just skip this one and move onto Last Light as it sounds like that is a much better game.

I've noticed some audio issues, dialogue suddenly goes very quiet as soon as you move away from NPCs. Quite annoying as it means you need to stay close to characters otherwise you miss stuff.
