Mexican Grand Prix 2015, Mexico City - Race 17/19

Back when Hamilton had hair!
Wow.

Time to start taking constructors points off them.

I heard old man Hill say this after P3 yesterday...
It's such a terrible idea.

All these ******* stupid knee-jerk ideas, it's really worrying, as the FIA are just crackpot enough to listen to them.

In what way would constructors points losses, for engine penalties, be good for the sport?

have a feeling we are going to be watching force india for 1 hour 20 minute and 20 minutes of other battles.

That'd probably be decent to watch.
Better than the average race directors, cutting away from on-track action to look at a celebrity, or fans.

A mischievous Sebastian Vettel has called on Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to crash into each other at the opening corner of Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix.
Rosberg, who sealed his fourth consecutive pole, will have his Mercedes team-mate Hamilton for company on the front row on Formula One's return to Mexico after a 23-year break.
A furious Rosberg accused Hamilton of driving "extremely aggressively" after the pair banged wheels on the exit of turn one in last week's United States Grand Prix.
Hamilton, who went on to clinch his third championship, emerged in the lead while Rosberg lost four places.
Asked if the Mercedes pair would discuss the start ahead of Sunday's race, Rosberg said: "It's no different, you know. It is always going to be a battle and what's in the past is in the past and now we move forward, it doesn't change."
Hamilton, sitting alongside his team-mate, and who is now on a five-race streak without securing pole, added: "The same as he's just said."
Vettel then joked: "Can you make sure you take both of you out so I can go through? Yes? No? I tried." Neither Rosberg or Hamilton responded to Vettel's jibe.

Vettel is turning into pure gold :)

Vettel is turning into pure gold :)

To be honest he doesn't have much of a challenge with those two halfwits, they just sit there unable to think of anything in reply. It's kind of bullying the class retards. I don't think they could come up with a reply to shut him up if he gave them a weeks notice.

Vettel has always been quick whitted and funny, people just didn't notice through the years of being that German guy with the finger :p

To be fair when he is speaking open and frankly on matters that are close to him (especially when not flustered!) Hamilton can be quite eloquent and on the odd moment with Vettel he can have a decent chat and joke around. But yeah Rosberg's personality lives in the same parallel dimension as his WDC chances and it's no good speaking 27 different languages if you can barely think in any of them.

It is true, of all the teams, merc does seem to have the least personality about them, perhaps why ToTo and Lauder are in front of the camera so often, at least the speak with some passion.
All the other drivers seem to have a bit of banter, or amusement, even if it is only on team radio.

Checo coming out, here comes the noise...

Oh for Pete's sake, show the crowd going nuts, not Bruno doing a rubbish Ant impression.

Well it's a great atmosphere, perfect weather and track conditions, should make for an excellent race!

I loved hearing the grandstands as Checo went by, but I fear they'll ramp up prices in the coming years so that atmosphere may start to disappear... (Tickets were as cheap as $20 this year)

Interested to see where Kimi will end up, and I am really interested in the top speed during the race - 364km/hr was reached in quali, and in Monza, Ricciardo hit the same during the race.

Why? What would that achieve?

Would mean that teams that remain within the 4 (or 5) engine limit but are dog slow wouldn't be disadvantaged by teams with more budget using an engine a race and just living with starting from the grid.

I did say constructors, not drivers though. It's their fault so they should suffer.

Nothing, Flibster's obviously the Gary "I hate McLaren" Anderson of the OCUK forums.

Weirdly, I'm a McLaren fan and it pains me to see them this abysmal. But when they are just changing engines almost every race.

Woah? This is their national anthem? What the actual fornication?
