Maybe there's more behind the scenes that we don't see. We're also getting to the end of a long season in which most teams and drivers are probably disappointed with their performance and patience is running low.
Well, Mad won as expected. To be honest, even if they matched RB's strategy, Max likely still would have won.
Lewis has a good opening few corners and the Merc pace looked pretty close to RB today.
What happened to Ferrari!?
Do you have any relevant qualifications in psychology / English language / sociology etc. to be able to understand the dynamics of the conversation that went on….if we all thought this way then no one would be able to comment on anything! There are better ways to word things after a race when drivers are emotionally charged etc, depending on the responses you want.
Well I suppose being obese shows a poor level of self-control, which would be confluence with Ted’s ability to control his mouth too. Although that’s tongue in cheek, clearly. I do actually genuinely find it amusing though when unfit pundits (and fans tbh) etc comment on elite sportsman’s, I always have. It just seems ironic . I don’t mind people doing it, everyone has a right to an opinion, it’s just always tickled me!
To be honest I really like Lando and would love to see him do well, apart from the fact that he has his tongue firmly up Max's behind. They're very matey, looks like some of Max's issues with Ted were just passed on to Lando probably in conversation. The question could have been worded better, but as said above it's a fair question to ask "what happened" to explain a drop of two places. E.g. did your start procedure not go well, were your tyres not warmed up. Ordinarily a driver knows exactly why they lost a couple of places at the start so it is a fair question. To which ones mate, Lando? - link
That’s the Max one too, only a short clip - link
Could see Lando felt Ted’s opening remark was unnecessary and he’s right, why should some fat bloke with no racing pedigree make snide remarks. There’s better ways to approach stuff. Ted has always been quite antagonistic. That may simply be a personality thing though, benefit of the doubt and all that.

I half wonder if Ferrari have just stopped development on the car thinking they had P2 sewn up. They looked dire this weekend - it was almost like they were driving around in F2 cars they were so far off Red Bull and Merc
I don't think his wording was great, but I wonder if Lando was generally hacked off after having finished below his teammate for once? Was that the first time this year? Must have been a bit of a surprise to him.Ted is really condescending to the younger drivers; that Lando interview after the race was awful. When he says "x is not optimal" is like saying "What you playing at son, I expected better from you". I'd be telling him where to shove it if it was me. What's wrong with just asking "That was a challenging start, what happened?", that's what we want to get out of the interview as Lando fans, not undertones of "you were rubbish".
I do as well, it's just someone wandering around behind the scenes showing us stuff we'd not normally see.I look forward to the Notebook each week because it is just that - seeing behind the scenes.
What, like the official Post-Race Show? Or AGM?What does the notebook truly add? It's hardly a proper look behind the scenes... he spends most of his time walking up and down the pitlane telling you where drivers started and where they finished. I suppose I would prefer a proper production not a glorified filler show.
If he's lucky enough to spot something interesting it's because it's being wheeled past or within camera shot imo. The US Grand Prix he stood outside the golf driving range simulator / media pen talking to random F1 fans :/
