Let’s be honest if the SC came out any earlier it wouldn’t have benefitted Russell. He started on the hards because he was so far down… and benefitted from luck.

He would have been 20 seconds behind Hamilton after the pit stop without the safety car. Russell had a tremendous drive today but, let’s not pretend the safety car didn’t help him out massively.
