Now that the great man has finally decided to retire it’s time to look back at his greatest and worst moments. So let's have your videos, pictures and stories.

I’ll start with his 1994 Spanish GP drive stuck in 5th gear:

He managed to finish second in that race and then went on to win his first Driver’s Championship.

Awesome drive stuck in 5th gear, remember him having a oil pressure problem at Brazil think it was 2003, so he had to adapt his lines in the corners to keep the pressure up, won the race when the car should have retired :D

Also at Austria maybe even 2003 as well, pitstop fuel leak and the car goes on fire, most drivers would jump out, he just waited for them to put it out, wiped his visor then went out and I think won :D

Spain 1996, Spa 96 as well, Monaco 97 was immense, Hungary 98 was magical. There is so many really :D

His negatives, well I am sure some will focus on them but other than Jerez 97 (which he admits he would not do again) and Monaco 2006 I think everything else was fair game and just showed his winning mentality that made him a cut above the rest.

Best:

Spa 1992 - Winning again in changeable conditions after qualifying (6th.. I think) in an average-at-best car and beating the almost unbeatable Williams was superb.
Barcelona 1994 - As posted above.
Spa 1995 - Started 16th after a huge qualifying crash and won the race in changing conditions.
Barcelona 1996 - Appalling conditions, pretty poor car, lapped everyone if I remember rightly. Absolutely raced away from Villeneuve.
Monaco 1997 - As Mr.Men said, won in awful conditions from Barrichello by almost a lap.
Hungaroring 1998 - Puts in fast lap after fast lap to claim an incredible win.
Spa 1999 - The move involving himself, Hakkinen and Zonta down the straight - not beneficial to him, but unforgettable nonetheless.
Suzuka 2000 - Claims the 3rd title and the domination begins.
2001-2004 : Almost everything!
A1-Ring 2003: Car catches fire during refueling, everyone panics, he drives off and wins.
Interlagos 2006 - Starts last and tears through the field to finish 4th in what at the time was his final race.

Worst:

Adelaide 1994 - Do I even need to tell you? :p
Jerez 1997 - Turns into Villeneuve to try and take him out as he was clearly faster, failed and DQ'd from the championship.
The 2005 season - Only win was the USA GP farce when Ferrari only raced Jordan and Minardi, struggled throughout to get anywhere near Alonso/McLaren.
Monaco 2006 - Blocks La Rascasse to stop Alonso taking pole, gets found out and shunted to the back.
2010-2012: Again, almost everything. Involved in several nasty crashes notably Abu Dhabi 2010, Singapore 2011, Barcelona 2012, Singapore 2012..

Bizarre:

Silverstone 1998 - Nobody knew what the hell was going on! Wins in the pitlane despite being given a stop/go, crosses the line to win but the stop/go wasn't taken during race distance.

Spain 96 was a master class in driving, still remember watching it as a kid it was that good.

Winning in the pit lane is another classic with Murray going "I think he's won but it's highly unofficial"

Worst has to be Austria 02 where Rubens is made by the team to give up the place to MSc, or where he drives up the back of the Spyker on the warm up to China

I will reply in this thread as I hate threads which start with Acronyms which could ****ing mean anything. ;)

He should never have come back into F1, now he will be remembered for nearly killing rubens and having a **** poor season at Mercedes. Plus the Italians will probably hate him now.:p

I think the main ones for me are....

Hill incident, Adelaide need I say anymore
Villenueve incident, Spain? need I say anymore
Broken leg of British GP where everyone thought the worst! Then his come back very late in the year?
The illegal race win in the pits again in the British GP
The Austrain GP Ferrari 1-2 with Barrichello - Team orders? No way!.
And the last........Singapore 2012 - What the hell was going on there?

Best (Great qualifying duel with Hakkinen measured in the hundredths of a second):

Worst (A lap down on the car he is trying to pass here):

It helps when you're the only one running an optimum car setup for the monsoon conditions. I think it would have been much more of a fight had (eg) Alesi and Hill not been on dry\intermediate setups for the race.

I was 7 when I watched that race :p

Many drivers have been made to look very stupid when running wet setups so it doesn't give him a stupid advantage, you still have to drive and get the win.

Schumacher's off-track decisions were just as important as his on-track ones though. Consider his comeback, he's still competitive because of his legendary fitness and motivation to continue racing.

Was he the only one running a wet setup at Spain 96?

Think he also lost 2 cyclinders in the engine that race as well, anyway it was a masterful display.

When he joined Ferrari Luca Di had promised him some fancy Ferrari road car if he won 3 or more races in his first year, and he done just that :D

Perhaps I should clarify: his relevant competition were expecting the weather to improve and chose accordingly. Villeneuve had limited wet-weather experience so he was not likely to be a factor, hence me mentioning Alesi\Hill. Hakkinen and Barrichello didn't have the cars to make much impact.
