There is a DRM issue when watching Netflix the video doesn't stream but the audio can be heard. I have reported this to Microsoft and it's been acknowledged. They are working on the issue and looking for a fix.

I am seeing a lot of mentions about 'uBlock Origin' which i had never heard of, is this better and lighter on resources than 'ABP - Adblockplus?'

Does edge chromium work with Netflix now? Kind of want to move to a different browser as Chrome is always giving me grief.

Nope I have tried dev build and canary, both don't work yet buts it's a known issue by Microsoft.

Sorry if I'm being dense.
I'm running 3 different devices on Windows 1903 running Edge beta and all of them work on Netflix?

I've done this since Windows 10 1903 came out.
I just had to double check then, but sure enough I just ran Star Trek on Netflix in the Edge beta, even ran 21:9.

I'm running the dev channel.

Confirmed this isn't working. I just get a spinning red circle. I have tried both dev and canary. Runs fine in the Windows 10 app though.

What Windows build are you running?

EDIT : Just tried it on my Surface 3 Pro, also Windows 1903, also Dev channel Edge and Netflix works....

I think I found a fix -

I have just installed the user agent switcher and now my netflix works. I think it's using the auto agent switch which is been talked about that sites are going to switch to a working agent in Edge Chromium for auto 4K.

I have just tested and I get the red spinning circle when using the default Edge Chromium user agent. I have reported this to Microsoft again.

Any one else notice Youtube looks wrong on Edge Dev/Can now? Just loaded it up and it looks shrunk, like the fonts are wrong or something, Chrome still looks fine.

Google trying schenanigans to make non-Google browsers perform bad on YT again?

I did read something earlier today about google blocking Edge from accessing youtube's new design.
