Hey guys,

So, all of the big companies now have their cloud storage options.

Which one do you guys think is best? As far as free storage goes surely SkyDrive? But what about features, usability etc?

Cheers!

I use drop box, I have not tried sky drive or Google Drive. But I started using dropbox last week, it's cool so far :)

I believe this is the actual case...

I use Google Drive just because it was right there and I clicked it :) They're all pretty similar so maybe try them all and see which you like best?

I personally think it's difficult to call at the moment as we are bound to see a real war on pricing as Cloud based storage really begins to take off.

I've been using Dropbox for a while, mainly because it can sync from various Apps I use. However, I'm actually as of today in need of some more space for a short period of time and Google Drive is far cheaper to upgrade than Dropbox, so that's already sold it for me. The other downside to Dropbox is I find uploading large files is slower than Google.

I think with Skydrive you are locked into a year contract if you buy more space, you can't just buy a month like the others.

Skydrive,

25GB for free (before April 22 account), fast user interface, awsome Apps for both Apple and Windows... soon for Andriods.
Plus its cheaper if you want to buy extra storage then other companies.

Just noticed that the year contract is just that, but it's actually pretty cheap.

I have been using Dropbox for a while but I installed GoogleDrive and SkyDrive as well, why not they are all free and offer some space.
I did manage to get the boost to 25GB though with SkyDrive so will probably lean towards that a bit more as it is quite a substantial amount of space.

Yer google drive is launched.

I currently have Dropbox but I am definitely going to try SkyDrive because of the free space. I doubt any of them will be as polished as Dropbox though!

The Google Drive App on Mac works exactly the same as the Dropbox one.

Totally depends what services you use or are likely to use.

Do you have an android phone? - go google
Are you going to get a windows phone or windows8 then go skydive.

Dropbox is redudent, even though I currently use it.

I don't need these services when I have a homeserver running 24/7 with sftp/ssh/VPN/sshfs access.
Rsync + ssh tunnel beats all of these services by miles.
