Microsoft Will Announce More Xbox One Games Coming To The PC In The Next Few Months

Gears Of War is exclusive to Win 10 + DX12 only & is also running on UE3 MS did not even spend the money to port to UE4 that tells you how much effort they are putting into this ...

Why would they go and waste a load of time effort porting to UE4? I don't think you really understand what is involved.

People want a Forza game on PC because PC has no pseudo RPG collect-em-all racing games with a sandbox career that has hundreds of events that limit you to certain performance classes/vehicle types that you can race with cars you actually get to customize and tune.

All PC has bar from NFS Prostreet and Shift 1+2 are racing games that play like fighting games, all you get to do is race and none of them are good for long sessions unless you're addicted to spamming the same tracks in the same car or two that are viable to set new times, which is legitimitate, it's a fun way to play it but there just isn't a Forza/Gran Turismo style racer on the platform and I doubt there ever will be, but like (for example) DayZ, when somebody finally gets the brains to do it, it'll be a huge hit.

Until then you have pick-up-and play simulation racing, which is good, but it doesn't give you the fullfillment that the console racers do, unless you're a hardcore racing fan that only wants to race.

I understand but I still think that they are now genuinely trying to support PC gaming, recent developments back this up. And if they release Halo MCC on PC (which is looking quite likely at this point), then a lot of PC gamers will be very pleased - including me.

So young, so naive.

This. Project Cars and similar games look nice and all but sod driving the same track over and over again with any car i can choose. I wanna start from the bottom, earn my cars, upgrade them, tune them, race them in different events. I want to be able to change drivetrains, engines, turn a Civic into a Ferrari eating monster, I wanna have access to LMP's and then turn those up to eleven.

There's just no option like that for PC Gamers, the Need for Speed games come the closest but they lack depth and cannot come close to the console racers. The moment someone dives in on pc with a Forza/Gran Turismo type game they will make a ton of dough.

Forza on PC would be awesome. I loved the modding in the game, the car customisation etc. Whilst I love PC sims, that more casual side of the game was hugely enjoyable.

Used to be so much fun chucking a huge engine in a completely unsuitable car and trolling people online!

We can dream, personally I'd like it if Forza 1 through 3 were to be released on PC if the most recent ones aren't. Failing that, got a PS4 ready for GT7.

If you say so, but I'm not an irrational hater of all things Microsoft so I won't just dismiss everything they are doing. Sure, they've made mistakes with regards to PC gaming but it's easy to forget that they have provided us with the very fundamentals required to game on PCs in the first place (i.e. the OS and DirectX).

Their latest pledges haven't been empty either, sharing KI and GoW to PC was their own decision - they weren't forced into it. And I doubt that the news that I originally posted is going to be irrelevant either, it is likely that Halo will be coming to PC based on the evidence so far. Can only be a good thing in my opinion.

Not dismissing it or even hating on Microsoft, they haven't done anything bad towards the community like some companies but they failed to deliver just about every time and most things they do seem like half baked effort that was just a second thought.

Speaking of evidence that is exactly how I'm going to approach this news, I'll believe it when I see it.
