Microwave Burgers... I know they are bad for me...

There seems to be no down side to Russlers with that list of ingrediants, so what is actually bad about them over ones you cook yourself?

I've never had one, but im tempted now after seeing its arguably better than co-op own brand burgers

How would you like it if I got some children and told them that Rustlers were made by evilly slaughtering baby cows? I will be boycotting these in order to force the company to use baby elephants instead.

You people make me sick.

They're obviously not as healthy or tasty as 100% Aberdeen Angus beef burgers, but if there's nothing else on offer, they're brilliant!

Thats pretty much my opinion. If its the choice between one of these or nothing, i'll blatently have one :p

Other than there bland, taste horrible and have no texture there fine.

and unless you only have a microwave, are more expensive and only slightly less effort.

I've never understood why AA has a reputation for tasting better, as far as i am aware it only became 'popular' during the BSE scare as it was the only verified BSE-free British beef and a lot of people didn't want to eat imported beef.

I don't understand where the notion it tastes any better has come from?

BTW, Feasters > Rustlers, the burger part actually tastes of beef.

Also, take the burger out and just cook that part in the microwave and grill then bun. Less sogginess then. You will however probably be disgusted by the mixture of pink and yellow 'goo' that comes out of the meat when the bun isn't there to soak it up.

I used to eat them 3 or 4 times a week when i worked shifts. They're very tasty at 3am. Especially when the only other option is a packet of crisps and a mars bar.

Tho the big version tastes a LOT better than the normal one for some reason.

Toasting the bun whilst nuking the burger and putting the sauce & your own sauce on is the key to these. Or just drink like a fish prior :)

You can't really do that with the new ones, you're supposed to cook the whole thing on the hot plate cardboard thing you get with it.

They're a lot nicer than the old ones.

The breakfast bap is nice to have every now and then.

I went through a phase of eating these burgers a lot, it wasn't until I realised that they were soley responsible for making me have a severe caseof the runs after eating them that I never ate another one again.

You have to live yourself knowing you're a man that eats microwaved burgers

One burger contains almost your entire RDA of sodium.

well about 1/3 or so, cant remember how much sodium=salt, i know its around 3g of salt per gram of sodium or around about that.

most ready made sandwiches, healthy or not seem to contain enormous amounts of salt aswell

You never thought it was the fact you had a poor diet and you were shoveling these burgers down was the cause?

So you decided to stop eating them completely, when you would have been fine with a good diet, having one every now and then?

Fair enough :p

One of those burgers contains 1216 mg of sodium, RDA is around 1500 mg IIRC
