Middle click on bbc website

I've found the same elsewhere. The website must be hijacking the mouse clicks and doing something stupid :(

Lol people who didn't know about middle click. I've broken 2 of the middle buttons on my Razer mouse from over-use, I don't think they expected me to middle-click so much..
I also use middle click to scroll though.

How the hell have all you people managed without middle click opening a new tab?! It is literally *the* point of having tabbed browsing! It's been the same since the netscape days!

To be fair, I really struggle without having my gestures installed now. Simply being able to hold right button and drag to the left to go back makes browsing with one hand so so much better.

You should be able to hold shift when you middle-click too and it'll open it up in a background / foreground tab dependent on your configuration.
