Midi controller, help DJ's!

Just as an FYI I used a BCD3000 with traktor LE for ages, so it definitely works. However, I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. I'm pretty sure it worked 'out the box' just installed the app and drivers, selected BCD3000 in Traktor and away I went.

try applying generic midi then click add.. if there is the bcd300 under there then select it, if now, there maybe an import button underneath the list of other controllers where you can laod the settings.

Then I'm not sure then. As Chris said above.. When you install the bcd3000 it usual works straight from the box. Have you tried starting from scratch?

I've mapped it in, still no responce from controller.

Maybe i have some cables wrong?
Got the hi-fi which i put on MD mode to act as an amp, red & white going into back of Master Output in the midi, then headphones in the midi, and the midi connected via USB to computer?

Only controlls that work on the controller are Master output (volume from the knob) and the headphones volume.

Right, pretty sure i've got the problem! In Midi Setup, no midi is shown as active, any idea how i get it to come up?

tried it in any other software just to rule out it being broken ? for example try the virtual dj trial as it has presets for the bcd3000

Just tried in on my GFs laptop and works on there but the sound quality is terrible, but i guess thats a matter of latency rather than the controller.

edit: Just loaded Traktor without the Behringer control pannel application loaded and the controller showed up under MIDI Setup, however, the device cant run without the control panel. I then noticed on the control pannel, my WDM driver says version 0.0.0.0 which means i don't have one? Could this be the problem?

Woo, sorted it, it was the WDM driver! Just sound distored now and tunes are only coming from one speaker haha. Any idea?
